We have been bowling at Partickhill for over 100 years and we welcome both experienced bowlers and those new to the sport. We are trying to make bowls as accessible as possible to new members including families and someone will always be willing to help out with coaching or equipment.

Please note that in order to comply with current ‘Covid-19″ guidelines, we require all bowlers to scan the QR code at the entry to the club.

Bookings are in 90 minute slots and can be reserved from 9:30 – 18:30 daily, with some exceptions (shown on the grid) for Grass Cutting & Outdoor Activities

New Bowlers

We are always keen to add new bowlers to our teams and to enter more events so, whether you are interested in playing for fun or competitively, please come along for a throw or just join up.

In 2020 there were no Inter-Club matches, in line with guidelines from our governing body, Bowls Scotland and from restrictions imposed by the Scottish Government. However, social bowling has flourished for all ages and we have seen a dramatic increase in membership and some great family and community events on the Green.

An internal competition was organised for Singles (irrespective of gender)  and Pairs (mixed). This culminated in a highly successful Finals Day on September 19th.

We’re hoping that 2021 will see more bowling for all.
