Bowling Equipment

Bowling Equipment

All you need for a start is a pair of shoes without heels (trainers will do for a start) or you can play barefoot!   If you are playing regularly you should obtain a dedicated set of flat-soled bowling shoes for protection of the green.

The club has a variety of bowls for general use, including children’s bowls.  However, many regular bowlers also have their own set of bowls whose size and type suits them best.

There is no dress code for casual games and the club’s internal competitions, so wear what you like!

For formal matches:

  • Club polo shirt or

  • Gents: grey or black trousers, white shirt and sweater, club tie and blazer.

  • Ladies: grey skirt, white blouse.
