Veronica Rocks will give a talk about Shetland from 1747 to the present day. Sophie,her daughter, will play a short musical interlude and there will be a display of textiles, jewellery, chocolate from Shetland (which can be bought) and samples of Shetland Gin for tasting. There will also be a prize raffle, items as yet undisclosed but Shetland related.
Sunday 1st December 2.30- 5.30pm A SCOTTISH CELEBRATION – ‘Travelling Through Time to the Present Day‘ organised by our writer in residence Jenny Laurie on the day after ST ANDREWS DAY There will be poetry, songs, drama and music.
